2. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered confirmed only after:

• Receipt of applicable advance payment
• Written confirmation from SOAM Journeys

Until confirmation is issued, availability cannot be guaranteed.

3. Pricing

All prices are subject to:

• Availability at the time of booking
• Changes by hotels, airlines, transport operators, or local vendors
• Government taxes and fees

SOAM Journeys reserves the right to revise quotations before booking confirmation.

4. Payment Terms

Payment schedules will be communicated at the time of booking.

Failure to make payments within the specified timeline may result in cancellation of reservations without liability on the part of SOAM Journeys.

5. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges may vary depending on:

• Hotel policies
• Transport provider policies
• Airline policies
• Activity provider policies
• Timing of cancellation

Any applicable cancellation fees charged by third-party suppliers will be deducted before refunds are processed.

Refund timelines may vary depending on supplier processing periods.

6. Changes to Bookings

Requests for itinerary modifications, travel date changes, accommodation changes, or traveller changes are subject to:

• Availability
• Supplier approval
• Applicable charges

Additional costs arising from such changes shall be borne by the traveller.

7. Travel Documents

Travellers are responsible for ensuring they possess:

• Valid identification documents
• Government-issued ID proofs
• Any permits required for travel
• Any documents required by authorities

SOAM Journeys shall not be liable for losses arising from incomplete or invalid documentation.

8. Traveller Responsibilities

Travellers agree to:

• Follow local laws and regulations
• Respect local customs and cultural practices
• Follow instructions issued by guides, coordinators, and service providers
• Maintain appropriate conduct throughout the trip

SOAM Journeys reserves the right to remove participants whose behaviour adversely affects the safety or experience of others.

9. Health & Fitness

Certain tours, treks, pilgrimage routes, adventure activities, and outdoor experiences may involve physical exertion.

Travellers are responsible for:

• Assessing their fitness level
• Seeking medical advice where necessary
• Informing SOAM Journeys of relevant health conditions before travel

Participation is undertaken at the traveller's own risk.

10. Force Majeure

SOAM Journeys shall not be liable for delays, cancellations, losses, or service disruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:

• Natural disasters
• Floods
• Landslides
• Weather conditions
• Government restrictions
• Political disturbances
• Pandemics
• Transportation strikes
• Supplier failures

11. Limitation of Liability

SOAM Journeys acts as an intermediary between travellers and independent service providers such as hotels, airlines, transport operators, activity providers, and local guides.

We shall not be liable for:

• Acts or omissions of third-party providers
• Personal injury
• Property damage
• Theft or loss of personal belongings
• Travel delays
• Missed connections
• Changes made by service providers
• Our liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount paid directly to SOAM Journeys for the affected service.

12. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that travellers obtain appropriate travel insurance covering:

• Medical emergencies
• Accidents
• Trip cancellations
• Personal belongings
• Travel disruptions

13. Intellectual Property

All content on the SOAM Journeys website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and itineraries, is the property of SOAM Journeys and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

14. Website Use

Users agree not to:

• Misuse the website
• Attempt unauthorized access
• Upload malicious content
• Interfere with website functionality

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Maharashtra, India.
